Poached Rhubarb

Ingredients
  

  • 1 TBS sugar, honey, maple syrup
  • 1 quart water
  • 2-3 stalks rhubarb, trimmed and cut into 2-inch long pieces

Instructions
 

  • Add sweetener of your choice to water and bring to a boil.
  • Add rhubarb and reduce heat. Simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon.
