- Julienne peeler (optional)
Ingredients
- ½ lb daikon radish
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- 1 ½ tsp Korean red pepper powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 scallion thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp white vinegar
Instructions
- Peel the daikon radishes and cut them into matchsticks.
- Toss the radishes with red pepper powder, sugar, salt, green onion, and garlic.
- Sprinkle the mixture with vinegar and mix well.
- Adjust the flavorings to taste, adding additional salt, sugar or vinegar, if needed.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Tip: You can use a julienne peeler to cut the daikon radish into matchsticks.
