Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅔ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 3 TBS fresh cinnamon basil leaves, chopped
- 1 TBS grated lime zest
- 1 cup slivered almonds or pistachios, chopped
- Parchment or wax paper for wrapping dough
Notes
Variations: Lemon or Thai Basil can also be used in this recipe.
