Guasacaca Sauce for Arepas

This bright, tangy Venezuelan sauce (pronounced wasakaka) is traditionally used for arepas (corn cakes). It’s great on chicken, beef, or veggies burgers also.

  • Food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cloves of fresh garlic
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • ½ jalapeño
  • ¼ white onion
  • ½ avocado
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 oz white vinegar
  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • 2 TBS water

Instructions
 

  • Put all the ingredients in a food processor and whirl until smooth.
