Green goddess dressing — classic

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup tightly packed with fresh herbs finely chopped: a combination of dill, parsley, basil, chives, oregano, tarragon, thyme
  • 2 medium-large garlic cloves roughly chopped
  • 1 scallion up to about 1 inch of the green part, chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • Zest and juice of ½ lemon

Instructions
 

  • In the bowl of a small food processor, combine all ingredients except for the lemon juice.
  • Pulse a few times until the herbs are chopped fine but the bits are still there. Add the lemon juice and pulse one more time.
  • Chill until ready to serve.
