Ingredients
- 5 cups lettuce washed and torn into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes halved, or 1 large tomato, sliced
- 8 oz meat a combination of whatever you have on hand, slivered: bacon, chicken, turkey, beef, sausage, etc.
- 1 cup of your favorite dressing; creamy dressings such as ranch and buttermilk work well
- 1 avocado cut into chunks
- 2 hard-boiled eggs quartered
- ½ cup croutons
Instructions
- Line a large bowl with half the lettuce.
- Toss the rest of the lettuce and the tomato and meat with the salad dressing, then add to the bowl.
- Arrange the avocado and eggs on top. Sprinkle with croutons.
- Serve cold or at room temperature.
