Green Goddess Dressing or Dip

Ingredients
- 2 TBS mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 TBS horseradish sauce
- 1 cup chopped fresh herbs — dill, parsley, chives, and any others; the dill is not absolutely required but is commonly used
- 1 TBS lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced or crushed
- 2 TBS finely minced shallots, scallions, or chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the mayo, sour cream, and horseradish sauce in a small bowl. Whisk or stir with a fork until blended.
- Fold in the other ingredients and stir. Taste and adjust salt, pepper, and lemon.
- It can be stored for a day in the refrigerator in a tightly closed jar. It does not freeze well.
