Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 3 TBS fresh cinnamon basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 TBS grated lime zest
  • 1 cup slivered almonds or pistachios, chopped
  • Parchment or wax paper for wrapping dough

Notes

Variations: Lemon or Thai Basil can also be used in this recipe.
