Frisée salad with caramelized onions, apples, and feta cheese with garlic scape pesto

Heat the vegetable oil in a small skillet. Add the onions and sauté until soft. Add the sugar and keep tossing until the onions are very soft and brown. Set aside and allow to cool slightly.
Put the frisée in a large bowl. Add the apple chunks and crumble in the feta. Add the cooled onions and toss again.
